Marsco in Bloom
Marsco in Bloom

Marsco (Seagull Rock) sits right in the heart of Glen Sligachan, between the Red Cuillin horseshoe to the East, and the Black Cuillin ridge to the West. It is often overlooked due to its proximity to the larger and more imposing peaks of Sgurr-nan-Gillean and Am Basteir.

I took this photo to show the softer side of the landscape during late Summer and early Autumn, with the proliferation of Bog Cotton (Eriophorum angustifolium), softening the harshness.
