Glen Sligachan

I am lucky enough to live near the foot of the Cuillin mountains, and every morning I can look out of my window and check to see what the weather is doing. Most of the time the Black Cuillin is hiding under a thick coat of cloud, lifted off the Atlantic by the jagged peaks, but, sometimes, the air is still, and clear (both at the same time).

The combination of a still lochan, early morning light, moorland textures and the Cuillin hills are irresistible.
